| Iwata, being a world leader in industrial spray gun
technology, is introducing three new HVLP spray guns to compliment their
existing line of RG-3 and W-100
spray guns.
Whether you're a fine artisit, production artist or a body shop painter IWATA has a stable of spray guns for every need. The IWATA RG-3, W-100, along with the new LPH-94, LPH-95 and LPS-2 are ideally suited for spraying gesso, varnishing paintings, murals, backgrounds, custom automotive painting, rendering signs, or whatever braod surfaces must be covered. Also, with IWATA spray guns high viscosity paints, including metallics, are sprayed with ease. The IWATA airbrush line is synonymous with superior craftmanship and professional performance. The complete line of spray guns is the perfect complement to the MEDEA/IWATA airbrush product line. |
| What is an Iwata HVLP and LVLP Spray Gun? HVLP is a designation for a HIGH Volume, LOW Pressure Spray Gun. An HVLP Spray Gun must have less than 10 psig at the nozzle cap and transfer over 80% of the paint onto the surface being coated. This means very little overspray will be produced. Iwata's innovative HVLP technology results in a silky smooth highly atomized finish. The Iwata LVLP Spray Gun is a LOW Volume, LOW Pressure Spray Gun. Compared to an HVLP Spray Gun, the LVLP uses a lower volume of air to finely atomize large amounts of paint resulting in a smooth finish with a minimum of overspray. The Iwata HVLP and LVLP Spray Guns need a 2.5 HP compressor or larger to operate at their peak performance. |

| The LPS 2 is a siphon feed spray gun featuring the newest in low-pressure spray technology LVLP (Low Volume Low Pressure). Dual atomization is the LPS 2 secret that prodeces extremely small paint particle size while using lower volumes of air. The LPS 2 produces the smoothest finishes even with hard to atomize low VOC waterbone coatings using Iwata's patented Internal/External atomization princliple. First, fluid and air are initially mixed in a small space between the tip cap and fluid nozzle. Pattern shape is adjusted as it jets through the tip cap. Second, additional pattern atomization is achievied by introducing air from the horn cap after the material leaves the tip cap. The LPS 2 is a true production spray-gun and meets environmental regulations for clean air. It is also equipped with stainless-steel fluid passages. The LPS Spray guns are ideal for large spray areas or where large amounts of paint needs to be applied. Spray pattern is up to 10" (25.4cm). | LPS 2-1 (2.5mm Nozzle) for Automotive - Base, Clear & Primer Coating for Fine-Art - varnishing, gesso, paints LPS 2-2 (2.5mm Nozzle) for Automotive - Base, Clear & Primary Coating for Fine-Art - varnishing, gesso, paints Sprays two times the paint volume as LPS 2-1 Fixed double-action trigger Preset adjustment knob Air regulator included Quick disconnect included Spray pattern adjustment knob 35oz.
