| What is HVLP?
HVLP is a designation for a HIGH Volume, LOW Pressure Spray Gun. An
HVLP Spray Gun must have less than 10 psig at the nozzle cap and
transfer over 80% of the paint onto the surface being coated. This means
very little overspray will be produced, saving on paint cost and
environmental hazards. IWATA’S innovative HVLP technology results in a
silky smooth, highly atomized finish. Iwata, being a world leader in industrial spray gun technology, is introducing three new HVLP spray guns to compliment their existing line of RG-3. The Century Series Spray Guns, including, W-100/LPH-100, W-200/LPH-200 and W-400/LPH-400 spray guns. Whether you're a fine artisit, production artist or a body shop painter IWATA has a stable of spray guns for every need. The IWATA RG-3 Mini-Spray Gun coupled with the Century Series Spray Guns W-100/LPH-100, W-200/LPH-200, and W-400/LPH-400 are ideally suited for spraying gesso, varnishing paintings, murals, backgrounds, custom automotive painting, rendering signs, or wherever broad surfaces must be covered. | W-200/LPH-200 Siphon Feed Spray Gun - The 200
series consists of heavy duty siphon feed spray guns which use a
conventional paint pot or pressure feed pot. The 200 series is commonly
used for industrial application by automotive painters, sign painters,
furniture refinishers, fine artists and by anyone who prefers the fit
and feel of conventional spray guns. The 200 series is designed for
applying base coats and primers.
The W-200 Spray pattern is up to 8" (20 cm) and the LPH-200 (HVLP Pressure Feed Pot) has a spray pattern up to 12" (30 cm). |
